Andrew was born in Casino but moved to Brisbane when he was young. He spent his school days in Queensland but moved back to Casino in 2010 to raise his family. He did his apprenticeship in electro-technology, engineering and refrigeration in South East Queensland.

In 2013, Andrew started APRACS (Andrew Presbury Refrigeration & Air-conditioning Services) on his own but grew quickly and soon needed his wife, Ann-Maree, to help out. Now he employs 6 staff and has expanded into electrical & appliance work & is also licensed as a gas-fitter, all in just 5 years.

Over the years, Andrew has been involved in junior rugby league with the RSM & the Casino All Blacks, as well as racing. He has been a member of the Chamber for 4 years, 2 of which he has been on the committee. 

Andrew is in his 5^th year on the Chamber, 2^nd year on the committee. He is director of APRACS, a local air-conditioning & refrigeration company that has gone from being a one man, sole trader to a successful company with 6 staff. He has an entrepreneurial spirit & is very community minded.

John has worked in the ICT industry for 36 years and a business owner for 24 years. He studied Bachelor of Business (MIS) at Charles Sturt University is currently Managing Director of Richmond Technology. Has been actively involved in Rotary since 1999 and currently a member of Casino Rotary.

This is not John’s first experience with NSW Chamber but it is his first year in the Casino Chamber. He is looking forward to making a positive difference to the community of Casino.

Ben West grew up in Casino from the age of 8-18yrs and like many when finishing school, left town to experience the wider world.

He has worked in the health industry for the last twenty years in various capacities and found himself home again where he now manages Casino Indoor Sports Stadium for Richmond Valley Council.

Casino has so much going for it and Ben is passionate about helping our community which has been to create an inclusive environment at the CISS with disability groups, aged and young alike benefiting from the activities there.

Ben also formed the Casino Sport and Recreation Association which is the charitable aspect of the CISS that exists to benefit all members of the community including disadvantaged youth where we raise funds to support events and activities with the focus on health and wellbeing.

Faith Denny has worked in the accounting industry for over 18 years, having spent this time in Casino. She currently works for Connect Accountants and Advisors as a senior accountant and is passionate about seeing her business clients thrive in Casino and surrounds. Faith has acted as treasurer for the past 5 terms, and enjoys being part of a business centric committee in a great town. She is a home owner and mother to a 7-year-old daughter, so seeing the Richmond Valley Council area progress is important to her.

Jason Davis has worked in the automotive industry for the past 20 years, starting in the trade in Alstonville. He completed his apprenticeship with Eric Box Mitsubishi and still currently works for Eric as a service manager & NRMA patrol man.

He holds Mitsubishi Master Technician qualification and helped the dealership win the 2017 Diamond Service Dealer Award.

This is Jason’s 1^st year on Casino Chamber and has lived in Casino for 25 years.

Lyn Croft has been working for Crowe Horwath for the past 8 years, she’s a CPA and has a Bachelor of Business degree. Her many talents have come from building and owning a café in Townsville, owning a Donut King and she’s a primary producer. She’s worked in administration for solicitors, not for profit organisations and stock feeders. She’s sold roller doors, pyrotechnics & everything in between.

Lyn has lived and worked in regional towns with either larger regional or major cities in close proximity and raised her 5 children along the way. She was also a member of the Oakey & Dalby Chamber of Commerce on behalf of her employers.

Izaak has been in the travel industry since buying Casino Travel Shoppe in February 2017. Izaak feels he doing what he loves rather than it being his job. When he’s on his way home from one trip, he’s planning the next. 

Born in South Africa, Izaak has worked as an accountant much of his working life. When coming to Australia, he worked in finance for Telstra. 

Izaak is very community minded. He is a member of Casino Rotary and is in his second term on the committee of the Chamber. His business has grown since he has owned it and this is because he enjoys what he does and pays a lot of attention to the details.
